NewHeight Group is pleased to report that construction of Verdante at Lincoln Park has continued without interruption throughout the COVID lockdown, and the project remains on track to welcome the first occupants into their new homes before the end of this year. Those driving by will notice grey brickwork going up along the Franklin Street façade, soon to be followed by fiber cement which will accent the bump-outs with a natural wood tone. The exterior of the north façade of the building is being finished with fiber cement siding. Drywall crews have finished hanging the second-floor walls and are now busy on the third floor. Electricians, plumbers, and HVAC professionals are all working on the higher floors placing and testing the systems that will be hidden in the walls and ceilings.
The roofing crews have nearly completed laying the initial roof covering on all top surfaces and will soon flood test this membrane in preparation for installation of the green roof. All windows and nearly all sliding glass doors have been installed, revealing wonderful views in every direction. The remaining unsold units have sweeping bay views to the east, stately views of the granite buildings on Federal Street, Lincoln Park, and City Hall to the west, views of Back Cove (including Mount Washington) to the north, and corridor views over Franklin Street to the ferry terminal to the south. Those interested in seeing these stunning views themselves are welcome to contact the sales office to schedule an appointment.
